| Lori Madden has been providing instruction in Irish Step, Irish Social, Ceili, and Set Dance to children of all ages as well as to adults for ten years through BRIMS. In addition, Lori teaches Irish dance in Richmond and at the Mountain Road Fiddle Camp in West Virginia. She has performed with the Humorous Abandon Irish dance ensemble at Floyd Fest and the Lake Eden Arts Festival and also in the full length Irish dance productions Drowsy Maggie and Robin Hood. In 2003, Lori served as Irish dance consultant for the Paul Wagner film, Angels. | Nicole Busse received her early dance training in Alexandria, Virginia, from Sally O’Connor, who was associated with Mary Day of the Washington As a teenager, Nicole lived in Germany. She was accepted into the Stuttgart Ballet Boarding School and later taught for Alice Kaluza in Bad Homburg , Germany. As a young adult, Nicole moved to California and taught for the Michele Armand Gaines in Los Angeles.Nicole Later trained in Chicago at the Lou Conte Dance Studio on South Wabash. For ten years, Nicole was the Director of the Ballet Centre in Charlottesville, Virginia. Nicole has also taught at the School for the Performing Arts in Orange, Virginia. Nicole has placed numerous students in prestigious summer workshop programs, such as the Washington School of Ballet, the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, the Boston Ballet, the San Francisco Ballet School, Walnut Hill, the Rock School of Philadelphia, and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. Nicole’s former students have received dance scholarships at the University of Utah, the University of Indiana, and the North Carolina School of the Arts.Nicole’s most accomplished students have joined the Miami City Ballet, the Charleston Ballet Theater, the Annapolis Ballet, and In 2010 Nicole created two pieces for the Charlottesville Ballet. Ballet will begin during the Summer of 2012 with Miss Nicole. |
